Nitrous oxide from nitrogen fertilizer is confirmed as the leading ozone-depleting substance in the atmosphere. Biocenza's fertilizer approach is designed to reduce it relative to conventional greenhouse practice.
Nitrification inhibitor fertilizer
A research backed formulation that cuts nitrous oxide emissions by roughly 30 percent while raising yield, for a modest premium of about 8 to 10 cents per pound of nitrogen, in place of the ozone-harming fertilizers common in Korea today.
